We are proud to announce that… PRIME European Congress is coming!
This year, we have focused our attention on URBAN CULTURE, which is a form of cultural expression resulted from the non-stop evolution of the city.
The outskirts and small communities have stepped in the limelight, and managed to blend in with the city center, perpetually transforming it.
Accordingly, the city has its own rhythm and beat, and reunites a multitude of voices, which are looking for the most creative ways (and places) to make themselves heard.
It doesn’t matter if there are skate or street art communities, or even unconventional acting groups, as long as each of them comes up with new visions and ways of manifestation.
Urban culture is very complex, but has to abide by only one rule: it must imaginatively and innovatively show the way the city moves and what it revolves around.
Just turn your head and you’ll see urban culture elements in the most unusual places: in the parks, clubs, on any urban means of transportation and routes, no matter how short.
According to various artists, Bucharest is nowadays the new Berlin, and can’t escape from this cultural expression as it has been the subject of change in lifestyle and ways of expression.
Communication is learning the Language of the CITY!
Publicity and PR campaigns are full of urban culture elements: (stencil) graffiti and skate competitions, public performances on the streets or in the places you’d least expect them to take place.
What is more, urban events are adapting themselves to the rediscovery of public places and you might find yourself saying that it’s hard to keep up with the interesting events, which are always announced in publications concerned with this type of culture.
Bucharest is changing its personality, managing to leave behind its communist image and its historical buildings are now perfectly integrated in this new urban flow.
Our goals?
- to maintain communication at an European level by reuniting for 6 days PRIME members from all over Europe;
- to approach the theme of urban culture and the ways it manifests itself in Romania;
- to offer the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with experts in our domain;
- to create a multicultural exchange;
- to present the main Romanian touristic attractions.
